Ronald McDonald House Charities® of Central Illinois announces Brian Byers will join Board of Directors
Byers is the Vice President of Development for Neuhoff Media and the host of Byers & Co. For the last 26 years. Brian is an integral part of the Neuhoff Leadership Team across all five of Neuhoff markets in Decatur, Springfield, Bloomington, Danville and Lafayette, Indiana. Byers & Co. Is the weekday morning staple at WSOY and Decatur’s most listened to show since 1996. Byers is a three-time winner of the National Association of Broadcasters, Marconi Award for excellence in broadcasting, the highest honor in the broadcast industry. Brian and WSOY have also won three prestigious Chrystal Awards from the NAB (National Association of Broadcasters) for excellence in community service. In addition, Byers & Co. have won more than 25 Illinois Broadcasters Association Silver Dome Awards including Broadcaster of the Year and Best Community Service. In total, Brian has raised more than 40 million dollars for local charities and organizations over the last 26 years and has served on numerous boards and commissions including the United Way, Decatur Public Schools Foundation, the Decatur Parks Foundation and the Decatur Chamber of Commerce.
