Faisal Hasan is the Founder and Managing Director of STARlab Capital Fund, a quantitative research driven Hedge fund. STARlab has 25+ years of diverse experience in research, quantitative finance, commercial systems, supply chain, and business consulting for Fortune 100 companies in various capacities. Faisal is very familiar with Ronald McDonald House of Central Illinois through the nonprofit he founded and serves as a Board Director, Hamida’s Kitchen. The foundation has provided many meals to the Peoria house, fulfilling their mission of feeding traveling families to bring normalcy under stressful circumstances. In addition to providing meals to local organizations in Central Illinois, the foundation assists with running food andambulance services in India. Hamida’s Kitchen acquired EatandEvolve Bistro in Peoria to make a self-sustaining funding bridge for the future of Hamida’s Kitchen. Faisal joined the board in 2024.
